I wish I could give them less than one star. Customer service was HORRIBLE !!!
I got in 10 minutes before closing with almost no air in one tire. They stayed 25 minutes past closing to try to figure out what caused the slow tire leak. They will do a more thorough check by taking the tire off tomorrow. They filled the tire allowing me to get home safely.
On Saturday after a crazy day in traffic around 5:30 pm my son (8 years) and I were going home (from Gainesville, va to southern md). I was tired and falling asleep, so we stopped by Mc Donald's at national harbor to get a coffee and a milkshake. We parked to admire the view at night. it was super windy and cold. As we were leaving my car is reading driver-front tire "0". I went to see and my front tire came off the rim. I called PepBoys in Alexandria and spoke with Steven G-Service Manager to see if they had the tire(run-flat) in stock, and they did! The problem was that they were closing at 8:00pm. We couldn't find a towing company that would take my son since he is under 21. REALLY!!!! so I asked PepBoys towing center what was the solution for SINGLE MOMS!!!! so I guess they felt bad and sent/found one. Finally, the towing truck got to us at 7:55pm. I called PepBoys and spoke with Steve G-Service manager and begged him to wait for me because I didn't have any other way to repair my car or get home that night. He said " No" at first... then after I told him "look if you don't wait for me I'm screwed" he said "OK I will have someone here for ONLY 10 more mins. We got to PepBoys at 8:30 pm and Steve G, Umar F, and Leonidas V were waiting for us at the door. they were very gracious and helpful. I am so grateful to these people that made my day on very windy, cold, long and scary day for me and my son!

I was in and out of there in about two hours. They rotated my tires for free and did my brakes for more than a reasonable price. The staff was very friendly, expeditious, helpful. 5 stars.
As we were leaving my son and I are saying bye to Steve G and he said... HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU GUYS!!! He broke my heart. This is thanksgiving week, and made me think about different ways of being thankful for what we have and do for others when less expected!!!!
