A nice big park. There are a lot of runners and dog-walkers about.
I love the walking trails..and the places to sit and watch the sun set or on a early morning jog.. the sun peaking up and shining across the water.
My friend rented a plot here for a decent price and made for a great day with friends. We used the land to hold field day events for more than 30 people. Great parking area and bathrooms were clean. You can have alcohol here too which was a big plus. Just clean up afterwards.
It's a managed by the park service so it's free. Like others have said, the playground is gone but it's still a nice place to walk and ride a bike. I taught my son to ride his bike one of the lots. As he got better we did a lap around the park.
